There’s a then, and there’s a now. What’s the difference?
For as long as I could ride the story, the undeniable cerebral connection in this metaphoric game, in which words were waves slapping inspiration onto my shore, and like an addict, EMPOWERED, I kept wanting more.
The parallels made sense. I saw what I wanted as truth, and I floated, feigning reality would be that kind to me. I knew better. I’m way to self-aware to allow puzzle pieces from the center to go unnoticed.
He knows me now, it’s true.
