steamy tonight you come

Steamy, cloudy the beginning unfolds,

as bold and erect as I can,

I walk through the open door

into the light with eyes solely focus

upon the prize on the other side…

My palm finds your cheek,

which I carress with a knuckle sweep.

Every nerve twitching, you see me,

and locked in a moment miracle,

I know I would lose control!

You would finally know for sure.

Obvious, the yearn craving loud,

I’d lean my cheek to brush yours,

ear an inch from my mouth, whisper,

“Forgive me, I can’t help myself…

a secret dream is to feel your lips

for just a moment of your time–

Indulgences utterly sublime!“

Oh muse, I watch your mouth move

not caring if there’s danger here.

Your fire gets me high and hot

and with you in me, I want to stay lost

with my core combustion churning

the love and lust within my breast,

a tasty treat of beautiful singing,

a lullaby to snuggle my mind tonight.

(If only I really could magically will my dreams turn real, lol. My truth is harder to swallow…

You know when something like a dream comes true, actually happens, and you’re on the other side, knowing likely you’ll never get such a riveting feeling again? Oh, my woe acts like an asshole! LOL;)

Oh, to kiss the lips that sing me sleep, a dreamy that’s steamy…

Come, Get Away

Which are you fight or flight? Sometimes, like tonight, when I need to fly away, I’m kinda glad my legs don’t work, I don’t run, no, I go to bed. Hopelessly Inappropriate my proclivity persists, and I escape with you for a bit.

Colorado had tons opportunity for me to participate in adaptive sports while I lived in Littleton. I rock climbed mountains, I hand-cycled hills and valleys, kayaked ponds, and sailed a sailboat. I wrote this poem as I learned to sail around 2016 (the last time I tried to run away, in love with the dream that love should include passion, dying to make a connection).

Re-Wind Me, My Captain

Flying your vessel

With a siren’s wail,

I am the only way

To steer my course,

For you, my Captain

Leapt for the sea

Leeward without me.

I know nothing, alone

In the no-go zone…

But re-wind me

With a bellow, Captain,

I’ll come back to you

About the next puff,

For with you I’d sail

Every sunset of time

Even in waters rough.

In music league the challenge this round was to find a song about getting away by some mode of transportation (planes, trains, automobiles or other ways to get out of Dodge;) This is what I went with, a I mean it, lol!!!

Come Sail Away With Me!

Thanks for listening! Wishing you hopeful thoughts:)

Awe

Awe tastes like coffee,

steamy-hot ‘n’ smoothe

as I swallow a good gulp

Awe slips down the throat,

and with a pump to the gut

rumbling the insides up,

giving a swift kick of giddy

A rocket to the flaccid brain.

Awe is trigger addictive

to someone like me,

turning darkness to light,

I drink morning to night.
